Clarkson Duku Acheampong

A Chartered Accountant by Profession. Mr. Acheampong also holds an MBA in Finance from University of Leicester in United Kingdom.

He worked at Merchant Bank Ghana Ltd from 1991 to 2008 where he held various positions.

Between 2008 and 2011, he was the Finance Director and Chief Investment Officer at SoromaCapital Ltd.

Since 2011, Mr. Acheampong has been the Chief Executive Officer of SDC Capital Ltd.

Among other positions held by Mr. Acheampong are a Member of the Audit Committee of TVET Training Service, Member of the Audit Committee of Ga West Municipal Assembly (2018 – 2022) Member of the Audit Committee of National Labour Commission (2018 – 2022). Within the Presbyterian Church also, he has been a Member of Project and Investment Committee of the General Assembly Office as well as being the National Chairman of the Committee on Accounts and Budget of the General Assembly Office.

Mr. Acheampong was also a Member of the Admissions Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 2018 to 2022.

He has also had training in the areas of Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Treasury Management, Project Management, Credit Risk Management and many others. He is married with three (3) children.
